I've agreed to look after an aquaintance's horse - she is having a baby and her horse is on hold. She wants me to ride him, school him, lunge etc and just generally look after him. She would also like me to take him to some shows, I've ridden him before. It would involve mucking out etc. She wants to pay me and asks how much I would charge but I really do not have a clue and don't know what to say ... how much do you guys think? I definitely want to help her , love the horse and have ample time to help. Also is there anything else I have to be aware of looking after another persons horse - like insurance or anything?
