Well when I'm riding my back always feels like it's really tense and tight so I feel like I'm not always sitting up straight and when I'm trotting my lower leg is moving and won't stay still no matter how much I attempt to brace it from moving. Someone said I might have a weak core any opinions? Or things I could try to help out?

lunge lessonsa and lots of work without stirrups will most likely help, especially with learning not to grip, that just forces you out of the saddle and with learning to absorb the motion of the horse through your back. If you have lunge lessons with no reins and no stirrups you soon learn to sit properly and control your body, otherwise you very quickly find out what falling off feels like!

Bought a friend a simulator riding lesson for her birthday a while back. She wanted lessons to improve riding and boost confidence. She highly recommended it because she said you can focus just on you instead of all the other factors involved when riding a real horse.
