Has anyone delt with bowed tendons or bandage bows? going back last year in summer my horse started to show a bowed tendon, when he was stabled it would swell but no lameness and when turned out and exercised would dissapear. I had my vet come out as i was worried about it and they scanned his leg and couldnt see a thing. He hasnt any lameness what so ever doesnt affect him atall. I just find it weird could it be a bandage bow if it is will it be there for rest of his life? sometimes when he is in i ice tight it an bandage it next morning swelling has gone down, if i dont bandage in the stable it swells but as soon as he is out or exercised the swelling goes. My vet couldnt see any shadows or anything in the scans nothing at all she scanned the other leg to and both look normal she told me not to worry about it. i also find when the weather warms up it swells more than in winter. He has neer been lame on it what so ever and it is never hot. I just find it odd anyone have any ideas or anyone experience this with there own horse??
