Apologise for this not being horsey related but could do with some cheering up and positive vibes. My lovely german shepherd, blue who is 17months, managed, we think to run in to a tree, by doing so has squashed there 3 and 4th veterbrate in his neck together. He is used the use of all his legs and it isn't looking good.

I am sitting here waiting to from the specialist he was rushed to phone, to see if the operation has worked to relieve the pressure on his spinal cord.

Fingers toes crossed.

I ma so scared I am going to lose him.

Hi

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I have just heard from the vets and he is optistmic of a full recovery. BUt we will not know for sure for another 6 weeks.

I am so happy I cried.I will be bringing my boy home at the end of the week. I didnt think I would be. I am going to go and see him tomorrow. I can't wait. I know there is unlikely to be a massive change but I jsut need to give him a hug.

Give you a laugh the vets bill is going to be larger than I have had for any of my horses in the last 15yrs. Luckly he is insured.
