She's currently in horse-pital with an impaction and possibly colitis too. My absolute worst nightmare don't think I'll be getting any sleep tonight :(
Any vibes please send mystis way, she's going to need all the help she can get :(

Colic surgerys something I've always said I'll never put her through so I don't know what I'll do if it comes to that.

No idea, thought it was spasmodic as she's had a stressy few days with her best friend going to a new home but she seemed to be settling down okay.
She's been drinking more than usual, eating the same high fibre diet she always has so no idea how she could get an impaction but she has :( Not sure how long it's been either as she didn't touch her feed this morning but was still eating hay/grazing when I first turned her out this morning, got the call at about 2 telling me she had been getting up and down in the field and I just knew it was bad :(

Sending you loads of <<<<<<<vibes>>>>>>> for a good recovery. Colic is absolutely horrible but can have a good outcome. My mare is now 3 weeks post impaction colic which needed 3 vet visits in less than 24 hrs and is now back to normal. Our old lady had a 3 day colic a few years ago which made us decide to retire her but is in excellent condition now, even thought the vet said on the 3rd day 'I don't think we've any options left if it happens again tomorrow' (she was 25 at the time). Fingers crossed that the impaction clears quickly.

Loads of vibes and hugs. Hope everything goes well.
Stay strong, I know how you are feeling right now.
Xxx fingers crossed

Sending lots of vibes to Mysti, I know how horrible colic and colitis can be. She is in the best place though, try to get some sleep and stay strong.
(((Hugs))) to you and Mysti.
