Need somewhere to meet up with bruv's dog in north oxford

As per title. Hoping to meet up with my brother this weekend on neutral turf so we can introduce the dogs.
He lives in Watford - I live in Gloucester.Need to meet somewhere in the middle preferably off the A40.
Can anyone recommend a dog friendly/picnic area ?

If you were coming up as far as Banbury there are some lovely places i could point you towards but don't really know the A40 area too well

I would recommend Port Meadow, it's at the end of the A40, go round the round about (the one with the BMW garage) almost doubling back on yourself, into Wolvercote village.
Go through the village & you'll reach a car park on the left, there are public toilets, a pick nick area & a river. It's a large common area with horses & cattle grazing on it.

Thanks everyone.We actually ended up at shotover country park.What a lovely place to go.At least I now know that my pup gets on reasonably well with his older dog so visiting each other will be possible with a bit of care.
