Need to go shopping, advice please

I am going to enter my first ODE for a long time and i need a new jacket and hat

.
My horse is dark bay so what colour tweed jacket and hat would be best?. Also looking to enter some WH classes over the summer, so would also need to be suitable for that. Any advice will be gratefully received

Maybe a nice green tweed? I personally would avoid brown tweed on a bay. Not sure about hat!

If you have a brown tweed go for brown hat, if blue tweed go for navy hat and if green tweed go for black hat!
