Genuinely need advice on something which could be perceived as advertising, so I wont give many details if that helps?

I have only had my saddle 6 months, it was an expensive make. It has completely hampered my horse's performance and he can't move well in it at all. I now have a new one, and the difference in him is amazing. His old saddle was fitted by a master saddler only last year.
I want to know do I have any come back on that saddler, as it is so poorly fitted?
If not, where is the best place to sell it on, and still get decent money for it?

Please help, need to get rid of it to pay for new saddle! What shall I do?

You probably will not have any comeback on the saddler - they can only fit to what they see on the day, and as it was a year ago it is likely that your horse has changed shape. You could ask for copies of the template that they took to compare.

What about the BD site. It's a decent make and you will be able to at least offer it at a price you would be comfortable with. Hopefully you will be advertising to the kind of people who know the true value.

What does the saddler say about the poor fit?

Will s/he buy it back or do a trade in?

I think the risk with ebay is the expectation of getting a bargain so you are expected to practically give it away.

Good luck, saddles are a pain in the backside.
