Where is a nervous smiley when you need one?

I'm not working today, been doing some house work
No one else about and I need to chat.

I've spoken to a potential YO in (fingers firmly crossed) preperation for my two mares to move. She can't promise she can make room for them, but agrees to see me later to discuss options.

I don't know whether or not be eternally grateful that I haven't been turned down yet, or extremely nervous about the likelihood of that happening later when we chat.
Can you all send seriously positive vibes that we can work something out.

This is a standard line - as it gives a get out clause if they don't think you'll fit in.

Well, some good news and some not totally good news.

She has agreed to have them BUT there are a few issues to overcome first. We can have a stable for storage and a stable for 'standing in', horses can live out. I will provide electric tape to 'pen them in' in a much bigger field. I'll have to cart water to them (really don't mind this, but she seemed to think it was an issue).
The main problem is her horse is a rig. Apparently he can get very awkward with mares and cause no end of problems for her. So, being 'penned' in near to him is obviously not going to work.
I'll have to make sure my 'pen' is totally Filly proof - not an easy feat as she is so playful with the plastic poles! I'll also have to make sure that I fence in as little XC jumps as possible, as owner likes to have a pop round and the large field has a nice selection of the jumps - which incidently I'm allowed to use as part of the price.
Also included is trailer parking and ad lib use of the arena - something I'm not used to of recent months! I can bring my own SJ's and use theirs too in the grass SJ paddock. I almost feel spoilt!!

Obviously this does come at a price. I'm not sure. 2 horses, 24.7 grazing all the above and £120 pcm. I'm not used to paying livery! My MIL had agreed to help pay. I know if I put £ aside in a pot each day I'll be fine, just in one sum it seems much!!

The only other downside is that the lady doesn't want this to be a perminant fixture. When I questioned what in her eyes 'was perminant', she replied she really didn't want us to still be here in 2 years. And I thought at first it would be more like she is just doing me a favour and covering us for the summer - so don't know how to feel about that.

There are two other liveries, each with 2 horses and part of the agreement is to 'scratch each others backs' - if for any reason owners can't manage to feed/turnout or bring in for the farrier - things like that. I have not met the other liveries though.
So, how does that sound?

Sounds like a good price to me. I'd be happy with that, although I would have concerns about how the fencing in the field will work, but if your filly is a bit troublesome maybe you can do a double line of fencing to seperate her from the rig. Good luck and I hope it all works out for you. At the least it gives you some breathing space to look around.

I pay a tenner a week which is very inexpensive by most standards... That's for an individual stable and optional 24/7 turnout... So I don't think I'd be too upset at the price...

The above comments would definitely give me the goosies though and if you have to move immediately then maybe take it for now but keep an active eye out for something more permanent for the future... Once the horses are moved you won't be working (I hope) on the family farm any more so you might be able to get some work somewhere to cover the extra thirty pounds a week expenditure...

4th field above slightly right of this post code - looks bare with patches of green around XC jumps. That is the field. I need to make a fenced off bit to the right of it as you look at it as the rigs field is on the left with the 2 trees.
