How about renting a box and doing it yourself? I have used RentRight in Newmarket before - about £100 for a 3.5t box that you can drive on a car licence - you just need to put in what fuel you use.

I have always found Gilies to be excellent! I used to use them when I was away at school and they always take excellent care of the horses and were reasonabley prices ie £175 from York to west sussex!
