We are selling all our competition ponies but feeling a little out of touch with how much ponies are going for at the mo, as haven't sold a pony for yonks (and as I haven't done a how much post in a year) I thought I would throw it open to hho to help

How much do you think??

14.1 7yo registered Appaloosa mare, good alrounder, easy to handle, sweet nature, snaffle mouth, good to shoe, box, clip etc, got some BSJA winning, still JD, has got quite a pop in her so would go along way in right hands, no vices, has bred 1 foalie... would love to keep her as she is a poppet but I don't think the rider will pass for a junior

She sounds like one in a million, I bet she will be snapped up quick.

I don’t really know but I think easy £4000, probably more, i’m no expert though.

Shame she isn't full up 14.2hh or she would go for alot more. I would say £4.5k, but realistically you could proberbly sell her for £6k+ if she is 100% safe sane honest etc.

Lol worthless or priceless!!! Erm I would say in the region of 5,5k - 6k, still got a long way to go but very smart. And unusual colouring too, that will help.

As far as im aware, no they are not im afraid. I know of three that have been for sale for about six months, all absolutely cracking ponies, big jumps, bsja winnings etc, fair price, sweet on the ground, no quirks... just no homes. I think it's almost worse for ponies because people outgrow them! Sorry xD But yours is gorge and unusual so I dont think you'll have too much trouble.

She looks to have a lovely jump - if she was mine I'd advertise at £6k at see - hope you find her a nice home, she sounds like a sweetie

Have you put her on the PC website? Some people at my last yard had buyers fighting over a 13.2 allrounder after putting him on there. I'm not so sure people are that keen to get a "full-up" 14.2 now there's been the crack down on heights. Pony buying season is just around the corner, if she's reasonabley priced she should go quickly. I saw one advertised here the other day, also appie I think, jumping 110 courses, 6yo, scope to go up pony ranks, 12500 euros!

she is lovely , perhaps you could send her to a good BSJA junior rider and get her out and about on the circuit .
hmmm who is the rider it looks like the VPL
