Last Monday my gorgeous 15 mnth Jack Russell x Patterdale was stomped on by a friends stallion - Awful fluke accident.
He was immediately taken to the vets and assessed as no serious damage just bruising and to keep him quiet for a week or so...
Yesterday whilst wandering quietly around the local field he collapsed and seemed unable to move anything from the hip back.....He was rushed back to the vets and booked in for Xrays this morning.
It has been decided that during being stomped on his left hip was dislocated and popped back in - Xray shows hip not sitting to pelvis as it should and his femur has rotated. Vets think ligament damage.
Poor lump is in lots of pain.
We are just waiting to hear from Orth' specialist as to whether or not her will need surgery.
So guys - Positive vibes for Jack!!
He is like my child and it is taking all I have not to burst into floods of tears!!
Hopefully
