Does it work? It repels me!

I can't stand the smell of the stuff but my boys are been used as an all you can eat buffet. Tried phaser and citronella etc but it doesn't have much effect.

If neem is amazing I am prepared to give it ago but don't want to make them stink if it's not so good.

I really need to reiterate how much I can't stand it.

Is it worth it?

I have a very sensitive nose....

Yes, it works but it stinks and leaves a greasy residue. I rub it into the mane and top of the tail. You don’t want it near the saddle area.

I agree with this; was going to say make sure you patch test it. My mare suffers from mild sweet itch but she came out in a big allergic swelling when I applied some neem oil cream to her tummy.

Likewise….be very cautious… our thoroughbred reacted horrifically to it and he became hideously swollen …. It took us days of washing, shampooing, and rinsing to get the wheals to subside … and it was significantly diluted….

Be careful to get cold pressed neem.
Some is acid extracted and when I unknowingly bought that pony reacted badly but he never reacted to cold pressed neem oil that I used a lot of due to sweet itch.
You get used to the smell after a while.

I use neem supreme by biteback and it’s fantastic. Doesn’t smell like neem oil does too but yes please patch test!
