My mare has been referred for a poor performance work up.
She has intermittent lameness, and lots of anxiety about working in a more connected frame especially on the left rein (when she becomes very sharp).
My vet recommended seeing Fran James at NEH but the RVC is closer and I've had good experiences there before. Alex Hawkins can see her next week.
Does anyone have any experience of either for poor performance and difficult to diagnose cases?
Thanks

Thanks - which vet do you see there?
Last time was a couple of years ago and my horse was under Jodie Daglish. The previous 2 horses I sent there were under Gaynor Minshall & Ian Wright. I have just always found them very thorough, the communication around findings excellent and the care is second to none.
