I have done a couple of posts about my doberman yapping and am doing my best to sort it, or rehome her.
Today my neighbour rang up and went wild at me. She was screaming down the phone telling me to shut my dogs up. As I am at home all day, I they only bark if someone comes to our house, or goes down her drive.
At night my little one has been yapping but I am on it straight away and am now using a soft night muzzel which is working.
I was horrified at how she spoke to me, as there really is not a cause for complaint and she allows her one dog to bark all the time.
We also live a field away from a dog boarding kennels and she gives them grief and reports them to the council.
I did'nt say anything to her, I just listened and said "I'll sort it". Afterwards I felt really angrey because I am at home 24/7 and she knows the minute they do bark, I am there to stop it.
Her young son drives his quad bike with his friends for hours up and down, disturbing our peace and I have never said a thing. I also put up with her refusing to do anything with her garden full of ragwort year in and year out. Also her geese that are allowed to roam on everyone's land, including the main road.
I have kept my mouth shut and never said a thing, but today I was so shell shocked I could'nt get a word out.
Any suggestions, did I do the right thing and how should I deal with her in the future?
