Hi everyone, this is my first post on here. Would like to introduce my little dog Nelly...she is four and is a jack russell cross (not sure!!) She is tiny and is almost human!! My question is..... I was reading an old post about food that is not good for dogs, this included coffee. Since Nel was a pup she has always finished our coffee off in our cups, only a small amount. Why is coffee harmful????

I think it is the caffiene that is the problem, I believe it can be toxic, depending on the quantity compared to the size of dog.

I never share any food or drinks with dogs

they get their food, I get mine.

You've just reminded me I had a huge (perhaps drunken

) rant at OH's brother for letting people feed his dog chocolate digestives.
