my preveous foal died of neonatal isoerythrolysis about a year ago unfortunately. However the foal was fantastic quality, so i want to breed the same two horses again to try and produce the same quality foal as the last. My question is, how likely is it that the next foal will get neonatal isoerythrolysis?

It is likely once a mare produces anti bodies she will always do it.The foal would have to be muzzled for the first few days and given donor colostrum.I wouldnt let it put you off but it is just more work over the first few days and making sure that the birth is attended so that the foal can not get any colostrum.I think there is a blood test you can do on the mare.
