I am thinking about getting some new neoprene riding boots. I already have the Muck Boot Tyne boots but I find them a bit clumpy so was thinking about trying one of the cheaper brands, eg Gallop, Arizona etc. However, some of them seem to have a reinforced rubber bit on the inside calf and i am wondering whether this would rub against the saddle flaps. Has anyone had problems with these types of boots wearing or marking the flaps on the saddle? Is it be better to have neoprene or rubber lying against the leather on a saddle?
