I'm so sick of mud and cold feet, my ariats are gettin trashed or I put wellies on and I still get cold feet with two pairs of socks..... So neoprene it is.

I've looked a le chameau, heard about rok and interested to see if any one had any seeland boots. So tell me what you like and why, please before my feet drop off with one more days cold and wet :(

I bought the Seeland allround boots in October and they are the best wellies I've had. I normally struggle to find them big enough to fit my calves but these are ok but I don't think they would be too big on anyone with normal legs! I've worn them every day and they are comfortable and still look good (under the mud). When we had snow I walked a mile each way to the yard and they had sufficient grip. I hadn't realised how good they were until I forgot them one morning and borrowed my daughters cheap shires boots.I took one step on the icy yard and nearly went a over t!! Mole Valley Farmers have them on offer at the moment, I 'm considering getting another pair to keep by when these give up but at the moment - touch wood - it doesn't look like anytime soon!

Absolutely second Seeland neoprene wellies, they are tough and grippy and my feet haven't been cold in them all winter. I bought mine at a car boot sale last summer, practically brand new, my size, £4...oh happy day!!, but if and when they wear out I'll definitely get another pair.

I have le chameau and have had them for about 7 years, they are still in perfect condition. Expensive though, but I have never had cold feet. They are slim in the leg. The look good too, love 'em!

My muckboots have given amazing service..I. never have cold feet..they don't get sucked off in muddy gateways either. On the downside they can be slippy on wet grass.

I have the Hunter Balmoral and I've Practically lived in them for a year with last years rubbish weather and they are still going strong. I also walk about 5 miles a day in them taking the dog for his walkies, i would deffo get another pair when these ones go to the great wellie in the sky!

I got seelands at Xmas and they have been great. Really warm and great sturdy soles. They feel like they have a lot more to them than other Wellies and not too expensive. I tried le chemeau but found them a bit loose around the ankle. The seelands were a better fit for me.

I had Le Chameau Neoprene wellies and am practically in them 24x7. All tracks country neo I think was the model - the ladies version. Cheapest place to get them uttings countrywear - £95.

They lasted over 2 years before splittting which might not sound great but given Hunters used to last 4 months before doing the same I consider it good value. Very warm and cosy even up here in the Cairngorms!

Decided to replace them with Muckboots Thurso to try out something different and have to say it is like wearing great big clogs compared with the silk glove of Le C - prefer Le C!! Altho I do have to admit that the Muckboots Thursos which have an extreme grip sole tread do give more grip in icy conditions than the Le Cs.

So have decided i need LeCs for spring summer and autumn and the muck boots for winter.

I have the Tyne Muckboots and they are very comfy and very warm. Even with thin socks when its well below zero my feet are toasty. Have never slipped in them. Definitely recommended. Plus they are quite solid and rigid, which is a bonus when your clumsy 16.1 monster yearling treads on your toes.

Snap, but had mine for 2 years and going strong! Love them to bits and wear them everyday for mucking out/walking the dog and will have another pair (mine are the carbon rather than neoprene). Also don't make my feet overheat in the summer too

Seeland & LeChameau are quite expensive but as a cheaper option that keep you nice & warm & dry take a look at Rok. I replaced some 'Muckboots' for my wife with these & she is very impressed. On the strength of buying those I've had a pair, got a pair for my daughter & two others at the yard have also bought. We got the 'Perth' model & they are £29.99p including p+p which is considerably cheaper than the Muckboots & they have been great so far. Daughter always compained of cold feet at the yard, but no now! :)

I bought the ROK wellies as they were so much cheaper than my faithful Muck boots. I then read a review on here of how they split :(. Needless to say, mine have split after 4 weeks light use :(:(

Thanks for that, they are a good price.

I wear Muckboots but Derwents for the best grip. Never have cold feet but they are expensive.

I too have derwents muckboots. I love them for grip and warmth

But

With neoprene boots does.nobody else suffer from cold.soaking wet feet once you take them off? I've tried one pair of socks and many, nothing helps, my feet get warm, sweat then wet!

I wade around the field and ride in my Just Togs Mudruckers. I got them to replace a pair of Muckboots (Tyne) that had split around the ankle. They're a neater fit, so I can't wear them with thick socks, but to be honest my feet are never cold even with the thin socks. They're great :D The foot is narrower, so no worries about getting caught in stirrups (although to be honest, the Muckboots were fine on that front too).

Muckboots. Love the fact that I can stuff more socks on and they will expand and I too have large calves. They cost me around £50 3 years ago and are still going strong, albeit I am not actually working on the yard.. use them for dog walking too in the winter.
