Nerve blocking

Anyone had it done on a hind? And any clues on price? (He's insured but the excess may mean it's not worth claiming and I can't remember if the leg is excluded or not) One presumes that nerve blocking may well lead to x rays then further treatment.

Further vet visit has thrown up a difference between right and left hock: I need to book an x ray next week. Matting his stable for extra padding tomorrow. Got second hand mats from the local riders' site.

He only has front shoes, which are coming off tomorrow: I'm not thrilled with the state of one hoof and he may as well be barefoot on box rest to give the hoof time to grow back.
