nerves before riding..............

Does anyone else get nerves before riding?
I always get butterflies no matter what I am due to ride, hacking, flatwork or jumping and for no reason whatso ever.
It drives me mad because I can't help it happening.

Just wondering whether I am the only one and whether anyone knows how to get over it?

I wouldn't mind but I have not (touch wood) fallen off for a long time, ride well mannered horses have have my BHSI (SM) inc my stage 4 riding but it still affects me!

I do if I'm riding someone elses horse, especially if I know thwy can be a pain! I don't on Chex though, too used to him I think.

It's pretty normal to be nervous - gets the adrenaline going. But if you feel nerves are getting the better of you, then Bachs rescue remedy is great stuff for making you feel more chilled.

I only get nervous on my own horse! Bizarre I know! I have started taking Bachs Rescue Remedy and its working!
