Two weeks ago my lovely "safe reliable trustworthy" horse bucked me across a field for no apparent reason other than high jinx.
I've been too stiff and sore up til now to even consider riding again and needed a new hat which I now have. I'm still sore but getting a bit of hassle to get back on and mick take about being scared so tonight is the night, I've no more excuses.
I am now wondering however if I should get his back and all checked out first! Bearing in mind his ears were pricked and literally as it happened myself and friend were laughing at how happy he looked.
Is this a excuse? Am I actually nervous? If I'm secretly scared to ride this horse there is literally no hope left for me!....or is it a sensible precaution?! I have spoken to my back lady and she is due to come just not sure when- he's never had back problems.
