i have been given a pony to show this year a 4 year old british show pony, she was beaten when younger so very nervous of people.
She dont catch you have to give her her feed and slowly put the leadrope round her neck then the head collar on, once head collar on she is ok
Oh she is also un broken.

How can i bridle brake her i think she had a bad experiance with a twitch as she dont eat from your hand or let you touch her muzzle, tried tonight and she was rearing everything.
She has the bridle on just not the bit in her mouth?

Please help!!

You need time, patience and kindness...how long it will take to get her to trust you depends on on you.

^^This^^

There are no quick fixes. Day by day, bit by bit. You will both take a step back frequently, you will have days when you feel like throwing in the towel. Work on one thing at a time, slowly but surely, with consistency, firmness and kindness. Good luck:)

Time and patience is the only thing here and consistancy in everything that you do, a couple of mine were very head/muzzle shy when i got them (well in fact they were totally unhandled) every day just tlc without pressure and let them to a degree set the pace with you trying tiny little things and with each thing they get comfortable with take it a step further,
but you cannot rush it where trust is concerned
