Nervous Traveller

Ok - ten weeks down the line of trailer loading training we are now in the situation of taking horse out. Been out a couple of times and travels well but it so nervous as she has to travel on her own. Has anyone used the mirrors in a trailer and if you have do they work? She has to go on her own so a companion is not an option at the moment. Any ideas gratefully received.

A calmer perhaps? just to take the edge off, but it depends on how much you give, when you give it so it wont effect your horses performance when you arrive at your destination.
