Nervous - What to wear?

I am so nervous. I start at Hartpury in just over a week as a mature student (31).

I don't want to totally put everyone of talking to me, my age is off putting enough. I have no idea what to wear on my first couple of days. I want the other people on my course to find me just about normal!

I am thinking Jeans, nice boots and ????? for the top half.

Ideas?

This may sound like a dim question but what course are you doing there?

Maybe a nice Polo shirt?

I am doing Equine Sports Science.

I have alot of Joules Polo shirts. I could dig one of those out

Don't worry about your age, and wear whatever you feel comfortable in plus a smile.

I expect that you feel like its your first day at school again.

I remember what it was like when I was 18 and went to Uni for the first time. I judged all the mature students! Now I am one of them and the only think that has matured is my drinking habit..

Ah well there in lies your answer.

Take them all to the pub and drink them all under the table, knowing kids these day's, well any days, they'll probably think thats cool!!

You'll be fine, you may find that you become Aunty Moody mare, and have to listen to all of there problems.

Don't worry about your age - my YO (in her 40's) was a mature student there until last year and there were loads of people a similar age to her there
