Going to see a potential horse share in about an hour (just waiting for her to get back from a hack), I'm nervous! Any tips, suggestions?? It's my first time as I'm just a riding school rider so far!

The only thing I'd be slightly wary about is why they've hacked the horse out prior to you viewing it (assuming she's out on the horse you're looking to share) but that's just me being cynical.

It went really well. Lovely horse and ended up spending all afternoon at the yard! Very responsive to ride which is new to me but looking forward to spending some time bonding with her and gaining confidence.

Any ideas for groundwork I do to get a bond? I'm going to do lots of grooming and in hand walks.
