Has anyone seen this programme on Netflix?

This episode is about a scheme where they killed expensive horses for the insurance money. Pretty shocking that this happened!

I just can't get over the disposable nature of it all, they didn't want the horse anymore but still wanted money (even though they were all mega rich) so just killed them. Disgusting.

I remember that at the time, absolutely disgusting. There’s some dispicable people around.

I couldn't finish it, honestly, I'm not squeamish but when the two of them unloaded the horse from the trailer and started talking about who was stronger... I'd had enough.
A sad example of the depths of human greed and corruption.

Oh yeah, I have seen the same sort of despicable things going on when I was training out of a TWH and Saddlebred barn in the US. That was 30 years ago, but I can't imagine it has changed much.

Yes my mom told me about this and I watched it (she said she had to turn it off part way through). It isn't surprising and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens elsewhere in the horsey world.
