Is it any good, have any of you tried it? if so how do you find it to be compared with other products on the market. My boy is allergic to Benzyl Benzoate, so a lot of the other products i cannot use, and im desperate to try and make my boy more comfortable.

Is fantastic stuff and does what it says on the tin.

Expensive but lasts a long time and really does work for about 7 days. My horse is not sweetitchy however up here we get those horrible midges that such the blood in the sheath area if I use the itch stop my horse is the only one in the field who they stay away from.

I agree great stuff and it does last a long time. My pony doesn't suffer with sweetitch really bad just on his mane and a pot has lasted me 2 summers!

i think its great. Ron doesn't have SI, but he does get attacked by midges, all along the 'seam' in the middle of his belly and this stuff has saved him from kicking at them all the time, and the associated red socks he gets from doing so.

would highly reccomend it!

This is the only thing that worked for us although I tend to apply it it about every 4 days particularly if it is raining. We also use Brewers Yeast. The Nettex site do both at good prices.

Im off to the shops later today to get some, theres a supplier nearby(ish) that does it :D

Majca1 i have also ordered a trial size pack of brewers yeast too, 1.5kg just in case he won't eat it! how much should i give him?

Also another really numpty question, but does the rain make the midges worse then? ive never had to deal with sweet itch before, ive had my boy for nearly 5 years and its only started this summer - so wasn't at all prepared!

Just rang Nettex and asked their customer services, and its not listed on their product details! so fingers crossed? give it a try, failing that glosgirl i'll try the summer cream thanks :D

Such a pain when things (food and products) don't have the ingredients in them. How on earth are we to make an informed choice! Hope they get back to you, I have a pot of the itch stop at the yard so will check the pot!

sorry mislead you there glosgirl, what i should have said was I rang their customer services and they have said its not listed in the product ingredients as the link link Lannerch has put up.
