Sorry if this is slightly repetitive after my post about snaffles!
I am, however, considering getting Ellie a new bit. She's currently in an eggbutt French Link, but I'm not 100% happy with it - nothing wrong, she isnt evasive and doesnt lean...but she doesnt work as well in it as she does either in her double bridle, or when I tried her just in the bradoon. So I think I am going to try a loose ring, maybe with a lozenge to lessen the nutcracker effect.
What are people's experiences with NS bits? All my tack has brass/gold fittings, so I am looking for a gold coloured bit - and of course, Korsteel is the most obvious option. But I have heard some good things about Neue Schule, and have found this bit:

Any experiences? Are they worth the money? I would rather spend £20 extra to get something that is spot on, so dont mind the fact that they are a bit more expensive than Korsteel
Thanks
