Anybody use these?

Any feedback relating to them would be much appreciated.

Currently use a loose ring french link snaffle.
 
Have two of them:

NS Tranz angled lozenge full cheek
Ns tranz angled lozenge loose ring

Find my sensitive girl accepts them very well and the full cheek has given me vastly improved steering on the xc.

Have also used the NS universal gag to good effect on super sensitive strong horses who accept it and listen to signals through it more so than they would with something stronger.

Basically, can't praise them enough, have had great results myself as have friends of mine on a wide variety of horses.
 
Have 2

for dressage/SJ, the hanging cheek- brilliant:)

and for XC the universal which is amazing, not at all harsh; but super for steering!
 
I discussed bitting with the designer at badminton and was really impressed. There is a selection of loose ring lozenge bits and I've decided to go with the team up which has a rounder (well more cylindrical) lozenge than the french link and is thus softer and more mobile in the horses mouth.

I was really really impressed with the designer's knowledge and advice and, although mine hasn't arrived yet so I have no experience of it yet, I'd recommend you speak to her and discuss your horse's way of going and see what she recommends.
 
Oh yes heather is brill to talk to, she tells you exactly what you need!

I changed from a kk ultra to a NS Verbindend and i couldnt be more happy with it

I bought an NS tranz link baucher three years ago and soon, for more or less the first time, was able to get my fussy, sensitive and evasive mare to accept contact. This spring I added an tranz pelham for show classes, and very quicklythe little mare has accepted it and actually goes better (lighter) than in the baucher. So I have been very pleased with NS and agree that the personal advice from Heather has been very useful.
 
I was guided to NS by a friend who had spoken to Heather and as the friend knows my horse so well, she mentioned that the NS team up bit would be good for him. Lengthy conversation follwed with Heather only two days ago and my bit arrived yesterday (although I will say, it looks too good to actually go into a horses mouth!!!) So I will be trying it for the first time today!!! I'll report back later on any differences etc etc, but horse has tendency to hang onto left hand side, tilts head and does everything possible to evade the contact...... So we shall see later on!!!!!

I have two, the regular loose ring tranz lozenge thingy and have just got the verbinand which I can't pronounce let alone spell. My boy loves them and goes very nicely in them. He used to have happy mouth and would stick his head in the air to avoid me putting his bridle on. When I switched to NS not only did his way of going immediately and dramatically improve he puts his head down and opens his mouth when I put the bridle on. I recommended one to my friend and her horse loves it too and it also made an immediate change to his way of going and acceptance of the contact.

I have a NS tranz lozenged loose ring beval on my four year old and he loves it. He works nicely in it and accepts it with no problem. Whereas our warm up used to be a bit of a battle and take about 10 minutes, he's now responsive and ready to work after a few minutes in the school. Such an improvement!
 
Yep, have used a Tranz link, a Verbidend (current snaffle) and a Universal, all with good results

Highhly recommended, and SO much cheaper than KK but fab quality!!
 
Well as promised, the report!!!
Lunged first, and NO TOOTH GRINDING!!!!
Still tried to hang on left hand side, but after a few circles ridden, immediately accepted the bit and went very soft nad light in the hand!! Am totally gobsmacked, have tried many many bits including the Mylers and have never had such an instant responce!!!!
Now why didn't someone piont me this way years ago!!!!
 
i like mine but it is too big - i have one of the tranz loose ring snaffles with a thin mouthpiece 5 1/2 if you are interested#!
 
I have three (me? greedy?). I started Ronnie in the training full cheek jointed snaffle (which i think has been discontinued). I then moved him into the loose ring tranz snaffle, which is perfect except for some jumping outside/fast work in company.

For these things I use the tranz Nelson gag with the rope cheeks (but two sets of reins). Works perfectly and he actually schools beautifully in it too, so when he's in work (a rarity) I tend to swap and change between the two to keep things fresh.

They do mark easily but so far apart from cosmetic issues I haven't had any problems.
