Any opinions on this bit? thinking of getting one for my fussy mouthed gelding. He hates French links, and fiddles around constantly with his lozenge bit- he goes better in his rubber mullen mouth, but it's not dressage legal due to the bumps on it and I can't quite get the same "feel" with the rigid mouthpiece.

I'm thinking he may be less fiddly in this as it only has a single joint, and although he works very nicely he can start to lean slightly as he gets bored. Just want opinions before I order as they aren't cheap!
Thanks

My boy loves this bit. He used to lean also and hated the nutcracker action of conventional single-jointed snaffle bits. We have the universal version but use it most of the time as a snaffle with the reins on the large ring. I think it's a brilliant piece of design. I borrowed one before buying because, as you say, they are not cheap. But it has definitely been worth the investment in the end :)

well I ended up buying one anyway, fed up of trying various linked designs and straight bars so its worth a shot ! looking forward to taking it for a test run! thanks for the replies :)
