I am so indecisive! My 3 year olds have been shown in hand with a little nylon bit so are used to being bitted with that.
I don't know whether to start them off with the Neue Schule starter bit or a sweet iron loose ring french link with a copper link, or saomething else!
What do you think please?
Thanks in advance...

Hi! I personally would go with ths ns starter as salox is a very kind metal and warms very quickly and the design of the bit also makes it very comfortable in the mouth. :)

I second the NS, funnily I bought a horse that went beautifully in a Sprenger, so I bought the same one he had on since breaking (he was 8) and used it when I got him home. He went horribly, i then tried him in the verbindend ns and was quite a bit better, then tried the starter ns, I finally had my horse back!! We have since progressed on to the verbindend since asking more from him and he is wonderful. All of my horses are in NS.

I always get them off ebay as they seem cheaper. However for the starter bit I got it from ingatestone saddlery which is in essex - they also have a website. Personally I would just google for the cheapest.
