hi hoping someone has experience with this bit? i have a 17hh ex racer who is coming on well. currently in a loose ring french link but very 'mouthy'. when bit is first put in he gapes his mouth open and then chews constantly until really well worked in. he eventually settles but i get the feeling its more of an 'i cant spit this out so i best give in' than true acceptance. he has a teeny mouth and is very soft in it. have read some good reviews of this. any advice alternative reccomendations!

I've got mine in a Turtle top. He's mainly TB with a touch of ID, hasn't got a small mouth but his tongue is huge. He's quite an anxious boy and is busy in his mouth and likes to hold onto the bit and set his poll a bit. I've found the TT has really helped him settle into a softer more elastic contact. Why not have it on trial for a month to see how your lad goes in it?
