Neue Shule Bits- Do you have one?

If so, could you give me your opinion on them please. Are they really that good? Which one do you use?
I've been looking at these bits and they sound good but would like your opinions please

I have a tranz angled lozenged one, good bit, my horses have always liked it and cheaper than a KK

I have 3 and just ordered another!

I used to use mylers which my horse went well in but was a bit heavy on the bit. Swapped to the NS verbindend and it instantly lifted his forehand.

I then got the team up and then the trans hanging cheek. He settles in them all and mouths up really well.

I put him back in his myler a few weeks ago and he really hated it, head tossing, mouth open and pulling on the reins and locking his jaw against the bit. Put him back in NS and he settled straight back to his normal self

I am a convert to them now and the mylers went on ebay last week!

I've had a few and love them. I use the Beval now and again for hacking. I have a Swales that I used to use on a large Welsh D mare that was heavy on the forehand, evaded with her tongue and would lean - a couple of visits of Mr Swales and she learned. I also had a verbindend for the same mare for dressage - she went lovely in it.

somwhow lost the verbindend but thinking of buying one for my current boy to lighten up the front end a bit.

Hi there just read this post with interest re the verbinnd (sp) can you tell me a bit more about this bit, is it a snaffle and is it dressage legal.

I have the Tranz universal which really suits my chap for more exciting times .

I have it a long time now and the quality is excellent.

I also have double bits which are lovely , I just wanted something for a couple of shows , he's a Connemara with a 6" mouth but I didn't want a long shank and wanted something as mild as possible .
The lady gave me great advice over the phone and I ended up with almost the same mouthpiece as his KK in the Bradoon and a very nice Mors l'Hotte curb with a short shank.

I had to send the first Mors l'Hotte back as there was a flaw in the manufacture. I think there was a change in the manufacturing and the quality might not be just as good with the latest ones . Best to check well before you remove the protective packaging.

Have 2 the starter bit which was ace.. and a tranz angled lozenge.. the quality is good and their nicely made.

However I think Neets may be happier in single jointed .. see the fulmer thread..

Yes, verbindend is dressage legal. Its a curved double jointed snaffle.

I have had a verbindend snaffle for 5 years and think its fab, no bit is a miracle bit but I do like this bit.

I bought a Trans Angled Lozenge with eggbut cheeks. My horse hated it with a passion (would either take off or do mini rears when I touched the reins, and I wasn't pulling! Head shaking all of the time too) so I sent it back for a refund! Gone back to a plain SS French link and he's is happy again

I have a loose ring verdinbend for dressage, and for xc and jumping i use the team up, my horse goes well in both, she loves them

I've got a loose-ring Verbindend snaffle. Dont use it much.

I am a recent convert, i ordered two from the bitshop online on trial and thats me sold. My yard owner / trainer wont be without them either.

Ive got my mare in a double, so i have their slimma wheymouth and their transangle snaffle. My mare loves them, shes very "mouthy" so to speak, and when i had her in a bog standard wheymouth she was all over the place and very uncomfortable as well. They also heat up very quickly so much more enjoyable in the mouth, along with being a far better shape.

To be honest, best ideas, are to ring up NS themselves, they are very helpful and are willing to discuss your horse and potential ideas on bits, they suggested the bits and im very happy with them

My boy went really nicely in the gag with a lozenge but HATED the verbinded...i think it was because it really refines your aids and almost makes them harsher, so when he started playing up and trying to run off, it was just too much for him when had to check him to steady him...i would suggest the t-team or starter bit which have loads of good reviews.
