Following from HJ's post re: Roeckl gloves...

Does anyone have a pair of these-Neumann riding gloves?
Heard they are good, and as my competition gloves are wearing/worn out thought I'd ask your opinion....

They are the best gloves ever!
Im on my 3rd pair, only because the blinking mice got hold of them

I really reccomend Roeckl gloves if you havent got much to spend.

I have the chester ones for Dressage & SJing and the XC ones for wait for it

.................XC!!

They are great and last a long time, they are around £18 each

I always rode in chester ones too for dressage, but mine fell apart

Thats strange, ive had my Chester ones for dress for a season and a half now and dressage through the winter and they are fine.

I am about to buy some new ones for SJing though.

And my Xc ones have lasted forever!! Am only getting some new ones as I want some Navy ones instead of black.

Agree about the SEG ones I have some I use at home and they have fallen apart!

Thats why i want to branch and try out some different brands-had a pair of the chester ones for over a year-and now really manky-ok so I've schooled, hunted and evented in them-but still not that impressed-brought a 2nd pair last summer and have hardly worn them and already starting to show signs of wear and tear...

Definetly recomend Neumann gloves bought mine 3 years ago in US and would now never go XC in anythnig else. No matter how wet your hands get you can still hold the reins and they never slip. They are expensive but you pay for what you get

I have some of these and I love them, they are fab! I still can't believe I paid nearly £40 for a pair of gloves, but I'm glad I did. They are sticky leather so the wetter they get the stickier they get!
