Is there anyone on here (additional to the one person I have already asked) who is experienced with neurological tests who would be happy to look at some video for me? It’s just me trying out some tests on the pony. I showed my vets and they think I’m a total hypochondriac and that I don’t need a neuro exam or neck Xrays. I’m starting to think I’m delusional, maybe I’m doing the tests wrong or interpreting them wrong. I’m way too fragile to post it openly on here, my whole life is falling apart this year.

I’m not an expert but I’m happy to have a look. My own horse was neurological so I am familiar with the sway test and tight turns. You can probably get more experienced help on here but I will help as much as I can. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

My previous appy had an odd occasional front right lameness in trot, it was like a short step/dropped shoulder and a vet who was a chiropractor and did acupuncture did a couple of sessions just behind her poll and sorted it out. Normal vet wanted to start at her feet.

Only had experience with my cob who developed neurological problems but happy to help in any way. I've been thought that paranoid owner before, although very politely, and both times unfortunately been proved right so please don't be hard on yourself.

Please can I advise OP to be really careful- you really dont know anyone on heres experience or actual knowledge and people can be very good at talking complete rubbish over an anonymous forum - please dont add to your worries by someone on here saying 'yes hes wrong' when they may just be saying what you think you want confirmed if that makes sense. Please get a second (or third) opinion from a knowledgable vet.
And anyone replying - please be aware unless you are qualified and knoweldgable and have seen the horse in question you may be sending the op down a rabbit hole and making a worrying situation worse rather than better. You might think you are being helpful but you are probably not. It's easy to look at a short clip and make judgement or share a 'worldly' opinion base on your experience but if you are wrong or misjudge the consequences can be hard on the person left holding and worrying about the horse.
