My freind and i went to pick my new horse up this afternoon - What a nightmare!!! Took us half hour to load not too bad - but we are quite experienced loaders. Horse kept rearing and running backwards and had a bit of a panic went we shut the front up but traveled beautifully the 3 miles home (had a big snake of traffic behind as i didnt go above 22 miles per hour!!!!) The nightmare began when we stopped at the yard - she went crazy rearing in the trailer i banged my head on the jockey door in my haste to get out as i thought she was going to have the trailer over! I have never been so b***dy scared in my life - luckily head groom was on hand with her amazing expertise ( i love her!!!) She has wrecked the aprtition on my newly repaired trailer and trashed a brand new set of travel boots and has a cut on her neck although she has got off lightly considering!!!! as she ran back down the ramp and reare again (we didnt dare take her out the front!) I was nearly crying thinking OMG what have i done. So i am very very down, scared, feeling stupid, and p**sed off!!! I had taken my camera to take some lovely laoading shots and shots of her in her new stable to post on here saying how relieved i was and happy my new horse had arrived! - what a joke!
