Never buy the first horse you see, but...

Yep another one here! BOught the 1st i seen.
I went to look at her because she was a 15.2 TB X ID which when me and my sister were younger, our Dad bought our first horse who was a 15.2 TB x ID and she was a little corker! (unfortunately me and my sister couldnt share nicely so dad loaned me a nice little Cob!)
And because she was in budget.
She hadnt been ridden since she was broken in 3 years previously.
BUt she looked a nice sort, so went for it.
Has it been hard work? ABSOLUTELY!
But no regrets as yet!

Yet another one who bought first one to see.I'd lost my "old man", he was the first horse I'd ever owned,16 2 IDx,coming up to 7 years ago now.I'd given it a couple of years before I even thought about another one and still miss him today.I saw Riven in a paddock with a few others and she was the only one who came up to the fence to be nosey to see who we were.Made some enquiries (15 3 Dutch Warmblood) and went back to try her.I never imagined that she'd be with me within a week.... That was then and now she gives me so much pleasure that I thought I could ever feel. We've had few problems, mainly me being on the floor and her looking as if to say"what you doing down there???" But I'm so glad I've got her..Any regrets....No none at all!!!!!

I have bought all of mine the first time I've seen them which makes 6! lol Only ever kept the two originals that I bought first. Just didn't bond as well with the others!

Both mine were the first ones we saw. Badger was even the first one, on the page of HorseMart (searched 14-15hh, Kent). Bodey, well kind of cheating as I picked him out of a field of 30 cobs, but didn’t go anywhere else.

I was been very picky last year looking for a horse and went to look at a 5 year old gelding sounded perfect been to shows with good results etc went down there then a little head popped out over a stable door and it was his yearling brother which i bought and didn't even try the original one if it feels right then it usually is.
Also when i was looking years ago set eyes on my coloured cob and knew i would be having him before i was even on his back
