Never been out of top 3 unaffliated dressage- prelim and novice
Working Elementary(with ease and scope to go on) at home
Does single changes and lateral work
Won first time out affliated dressage(points)
Jumps- never had a fence down - sj and cross country
Super temprement- very easy to do and ride
Perfect in all ways

but......

cribs without collar(not at all with it)

Just wondering.
 
Sounds like a nice horse - would pay around £5-7K as it cribs.

And I really wouldnt put a collar on it, horses crib because they are usually stressed or were stressed at some point to pick up this habit, I find you more you try to stop them the more stressed they get.

But id def go and have a look if you havent! Or vet, sounds lovely.

Any horse is only worth what a person is willing to pay for it. I would be crafty and try and ascertain if the seller needs the money or a quick sale. How have they advertised it, how much effort has gone into it, etc etc. Each seller has a set of individual circumstances for them to put a horse up for sale.

I viewed one this summer that was pefect, but they wanted too much, it turns out it is still stuck in a field and doing nothing. I had offered a reasonable amount and it was'nt good enough, to this effect the horse is now being de-valued by just being out in the field.

It depends on, if it is'nt sold, do they have the time and desire to keep on with its work, does it have a current rider. Try and find out out all the back ground, ask the right questions before you make your bid. The longer a horse is kept the more expensive it is for the owner to keep. Also if there is'nt a rider for it, or it wont be going to shows if not sold, then you are in a buyers market.

Be prepared to make an offer and walk away, leave your number and tell them cash is waiting - see what happens.

If on the other case you desperately want the horse and there are others in the background also wanting it, dig deep and buy it.
 
Depends, if you were selling it as a good riding club horse £6k ish, if you were selling it as a dressage horse, with potential to go on and on £10K-£15K, or as an young eventer £7k-£8k x
