Not much point to this post other than to say I am SO proud of the bonkers black beast

Yes she is a little bit fat and little bit feral sometimes
, yes she has short legs and takes a 58" long girth 
eek3: yep she is only 15.2hh lol), yes she was bred to pull carriages, but do you know what she has no idea that all of that means we shouldn't be able to 'do' dressage!
Her hackney stomp is her trade mark movement, the higher the knees the better right? So it has taken a lot of time, a lot of new ideas and different attempts, blood, sweat and tears, but five years of dressage training and we have got to this point:

Not perfect, not Valegro amazing, but for me she is my little Valegro and our own little journey is so worth the heartache of all the downs you have to go through . I know for many lengthened strides is easy and come on it comes in at Novice level so must be easy right . So when things don't come easily I now know to keep the faith, it doesn't mean it will never come, it just might take five years longer than most :lol:!
We also have almost managed a clean right change, wonders will never cease:

We have yet to get it reliably clean but hey can't have too much penny dropping in one go can we, imagine all the loose change I'd have to pick up:lol:.
