Hooray....we trotted sound today!!! it was in his new 'old macs' but only on the front feet and it was on the road. not bad for a 'i'll give him a 40/60 chance of being sound again' (vet opinion in May.)

So beginning of May he was X rayed and confirmed with Navicular......vet advice was remedial shoeing box rest etc.... so we took his shoes off with lots of advice from fab people on here-thank you especially Cptrayes-and we are barefoot. Just another one to advocate barefoot!!

Roll on riding again

There is hope ;)

Thats great news!
Am currently awaiting delivery of some old mac originals (as these apparantly are th eonly ones which will fit silly shaped tb feet!). My lad too came sound after taking his shoes off. Best thing I ever did! Although the hard ground has made him a little footie.
