He stuck his head back out and it looked really funny but I wasn't quick enough lol. He then disappeared completely and some how managed to back out from between them. Didn't find any Mickey's but had a very good look :p

Bless. The little fella does that in the hay barn. :) He even caught a mouse on Sat he was so proud of himself :D :D :D. I did loose him down a hole in the forest for 20mins the other week to.
Terriers you've gotta love em  :p :D :D :D

Monster being the operative word!! Lol! None of my 3 have ever been interested in holes, they'll have a sniff but then they carry on. He's had a grand total of 4 mice in his 4 years - what a fabulous ratter

Just be very aware that if the bales aren't stacked properly(tightly squished together, no gaps - but then they'd have no fun!) then it's easy for rat size terriers to push their way downwards and then not be able to get back out. Been there and done that too many times to mention and it's not funny having to move most of a stack to get one ruddy dog out.

Awww, what a good boy! I have to say my border terrier would look at a hole and then go "oh no...that looks FAR too dark and scary, and there might be something creepy crawly in there" and then go snuggle back in MY bed! LOL

Lol! Sorry :p

It was just two bales next to each other - we have the back of a small curtained lorry round the back of the stables that keeps the livery hay and straw separate from the cows supply.

Jim made the hole lol. The bales were stood next to each other, there was a gap big enough for his nose and he pushed his way down - little sod!

You're lucky then! :D Anyway, forewarned is fore-armed, you'll know what to look for if he does it somewhere strange! Have to say, it's probably the only thing I don't miss after having Border Terriers for 30 years; their capability of disappearing when you least need it. At least lurchers and Bassets stay above ground. :)

Ah, I back track! I lost him for an hour once in a hedge down the farm, he came back looking very pleased with himself and caked in mud lol so maybe he is interested in holes!!! Opps I lied lol forgot that one!!

I'd probably have had kittens if it had been a proper stack of bales, in fact I'd stop him from even attempting that. It was just 2 bales in the small store :)

I thought they were amusing too :p
