Never seen it before - have you??

One of the horses I 'work with' - 16hh bay mare with 2 small white socks at the back with white feet. Black legs on the front with black feet.
HOWEVER
...Her near fore is black on the outside of the hoof, but pick it up and its totally white on the underside!
Anyone seen this before? - I might try to take pictures but no promises as I would have to get permission from the owner first.

I saw a black mare ,4 black hooves with 4 white soles years back but never before or since

One of my mini spotted ponies has black hooves that are white with spots on the sole.

My mare has a white coronet band, black outside of the hoof and a white sole. Never really thought about it before but guess it is quite weird!

My lad is black with no white markings, all blace feet on outside but underside of off hind is white and always has been since I've owned him (16 years at Xmas)
