Hi All,
I would like to introduce you to my xmas pressie.
Early last year I decided to stop competing my welsh cob mare as she really did not enjoy competing anymore. And after a summer of hacking away she is very very happy but I was not (at all) as I love my competing so I was stuck.
My lovely hubby said we should go look for a new horsie so I could go out and about again.
I really wanted another Welsh cob and after looks of declines we saw Belle.
Not precicly what I was after but with an open mind we tracked up 3 hours to Suffolk and my idea of looking with my head rather then my heart went straight out the window. Especially when I saw her move and then when I rode her well I was sold. My hubby said I could not stop smiling.
So after another trip up with my trainer, who luckily loved her as well, and a vetting my new horsie came home just before xmas. Best pressie everrrrr!
She settled in quickly and fell in love with me husbands gelding straight away! my other mare is pretending she isn't there 😊
After 4 days I thought we needed a baptism of fire and went showjumping. That showed that her new mummy needed to learn a few things and she loves to jump. She only came back with a red frilly. I did say 'she' as all I did was point her to the correct jump, which with her big canter was a bit of an ask 😉
Anyway enough chart, meet Belle (aka Vixen) 9 year old 16hh welsh sec d (dad) x Clydesdale (mum). I am in love! (yes with both my hubby and my new horsie).
