Yeah so does my OH, he's not really a fan but he's a soft touch and I've got him wrapped around my little finger lol. OH says he looks like a mini veloceraptor no prizes for guessing who the Jurassic Park fan really is

My mum says Elmo (the Leo) is a snake with legs & hates him lol he's so funny though proper personality!

I showed this to my daughters boyfriend and he thinks he is amazing and said he thought he has eyelashes, does he?.

He doesn't have eyelashes although it looks like it, they're scaley projections (ok I cheated and looked in the book lol) that run from the head down the body and that's where they get the name "crested" - it's their crest. They don't have eyelids like a Leopard Gecko, they lick their eyes to keep them moist. When they sleep their crests droop lol

I think Geckos are really cute - loved seeing them scamper all over the walls when we were in Hawaii. But the crested one does creep me out too - reminds me too much of an Iguana (and I don't like them - my nephew had one and I sooooo didn't get on with it!)

Love the way geckos move.

I kept beardies for years - recently lost the last one after 12 years and she was an adult
rescue when I got her.

BTW be careful of the non aquatic Dracenea in the aquarium in the background. These are notorious for rotting suddenly & polluting the tank.
