We have just rehomed a 2 year old staffy cross called Maddie. She is a bit nervous, has a few issues round the house and pulls like a train. But she has learned a lot already and she is very sweet and is settling in well with my other 2. She has been good with everyone and all the dogs she has met so far. She was picked up as a stray so we don't have any history on her. Here's a few pictures.

Thanks guys. :D

I did do research into the breed, as there were so many in rescues to check they would suit our life style etc.

It was just horrid going into the rescue and picking a dog, between there 2 rescue centres there were at least 40 staffies and staffy crosses!!

I have taken her out on her own this morning to work on the heal work. She is already walking loads better and is comming when she is called now. She is a smart dog, which does make is easier.

She is fab, how lucky is she to find you:) and so are your other 2, what a content little pack you have there:)
Are those little creatures in the pen in the background? what are those? Yes im nosey...thats besides the point:D:p

Thanks :)

They're guinea pigs!!! :D

She had a traumatic afternoon bless her, they usually want to go in the yard for a bit when they get back from a walk. Which she is usually happy with. But the people behind our house were breaking up a wardrobe. She totally paniced. She was desparately trying to get in the back door. When I opened the top door she almost flew over the bottom one. I let her in and she was just panicing and took ages to calm her down bless her.

They did say she couldn't be rehomed with children because she is nervous, but till now she has been no where near that bad. Bless her, she now snoring on the couch with the other 2. :D
