Decided to have a look at the local horse sales today and came home with these....
2 welsh section a mares both with 5 week old fillies at foot.
Mummies are pretty protective right now (so much i couldnt even get a decent pic of one!) but after the day they have had its really not all that suprising.
The mares feet are in a pretty grim state, but farrier will sort that in no time.
So the pictures i managed to take (and they really dont sit still for long!) so far....
Smaller of the foals, now called Fleur
And with mum, now named Flicker
Will get some of the other two once they settle down!
