Hi all, have been reading up on here for last week - loads of good stuff you don't get in the books.

We are about to loan the pony my daughter has been having lessons on, he is due to come to ours at the end of the holidays - this will be the first pony we have ever had - oh cricky - will probably be posting loads of questions!!

We live nr. haverhill and I now have the daunting task of trying to find a happy hacker for myself am returning to riding after a massive 25yrs break - never had the time or money before.

Question: does anyone on here have any experience of the following dealers Rose Marie @ stoke, Seehorsevideo's @ bury and myfirshorse @ fakenham - not sure if i'm allowed to ask that question !!?

Any advice, tips etc would be gratefully received and if anyone lives near me pls get in touch

Thanks

Thanks for your replies - have checked out cost and whats involved in vetting and will def do that.

Might be able to get someone to come with me (fingers crossed) but am also hoping that my talent at spotting a wrong um in the human form will extend to a four legged beast ! I will def not go with anything I'm unsure about or that my gut says no about.

Brought our beautiful Great Dane 3 years ago, never having had a dog before (nearest I could get to a horse at the time !) and he's just the most adorable thing ever and fantastic with the kids.

I know its not the same as getting a horse but I guess a lot has to be said for research and common sense ??

Thanks everyone x

Yes defiantly!

I have actually brought all my horses whilst going and viewing with just me and my mum. If your not sure though then you could always go and have a second look taking someone with you.

You should be fine!
