The search for a confidence giving (but not ploddy) hacking horse for my Mum was a success. She fell in love with the first horse we went to see... a 16h 6yr old Appaloosa called Noah.
We were looking for something a bit older but Noah was so safe when we tried him out. He has done a bit of everything, is excellent in traffic and was very quiet and sweet natured. He will be the first horse my mother has had for herself in over 40 years! Noah is also big enough that my Stepdad can finally have a go and my OH too (my horse Belle is too nutty for a beginner!).
The owner is desperate to stay in touch and has owned him since he was 2. He originally came from Denmark where he was broken to drive. Below are a few photos - we are so excited! Mum was drawing spots in the mist on her car.
I will get some more pics when he arrives.
Several people have said he's ugly but I think he's adorable!
