Yep, my gorgeous new boots are too long and pretty tight, gutted!

Question is, will they drop or is the fact that they are very tight on my fat little stumpy legs going to prevent them dropping?

I can zip them up (with difficulty!) but they are very long.

Don't want to send them back, any advice gratefully received x

Not sure how long is very long, but they will drop in time. In the meantime you can get heel risers (mountain horse do some) and this should make them more comfy until they drop. I would also expect them to loosen with time.
Honestly though, if they are more than about a cm or so long then they may well remain too long. They are super expensive boots so if they aren't going to be comfy I would send them back. There are so many boot manufacturers who do every concievable style, width and hight so there is no need to spend £££ on uncomfy boots!

Mine have dropped massively. I use a set of heel lifters to help.

Mine were so long i struggled to walk but in the space of a few weeks they have dropped to a comfortable height.

I'll do you a swap! As someone with long, skinny legs I can never get boots long enough or tight enough lol!

Seriously though, they will drop and possibly stretch a little with wear but not drastically. As glosgirl suggested, if they are majorly wrong I would send them back :(

Hold on in there, they will stretch and drop. I nearly cried getting in mine one day just after I had bought them as I couldn't get the buggers done up and it was so fustrating but a few weeks and sore fingers and thumbs they fitted perfect. They are fitted tight and long for this reason so when then drop and stretch they are just right.
